The valve disc is precisely engineered for automatic shut-off at zero pressure. Featuring a compact structure and low-emission service, swing check valves have a bolted cover and a free-swinging clapper that responds to flow conditions. For heavier disc weights, dampers or counterweights can be added to prevent chattering.
