The ASTM A351 CF8 Swing Check Valve features an investment-cast stainless steel body, ensuring superior strength and corrosion resistance. Investment Casting Screwed Check Valves are designed to prevent backflow in pipelines. The valve allows flow in a straight line, resulting in minimal pressure drop. As the media flows through the valve, the disc swings into the open position, while back pressure in the line keeps the disc closed. These valves can be installed in both horizontal and vertical pipelines but must be oriented according to the flow direction arrow marked on the body to ensure proper function.
