The API 6D Through Conduit Flat Gate Valve features an ASTM A216 WCB body. Slab Through Conduit Gate Valves are designed with a full-bore port, rising stem OS&Y, and floating seats and gate, which are pressure-energized for a bubble-tight shutoff upstream and downstream under both low and high differential pressures. This seat design features double block-and-bleed capability and automatic relief of excess body pressure as standard. The smooth, continuous bore minimizes turbulence within the valve, and when in the open position, it produces a pressure drop equivalent to a section of pipe of the same length and diameter. The seat faces are positioned outside the flow stream, providing protection from erosive flow action. Additionally, pigs and scrapers can be run through the valve without causing damage.

» The valve seat adopts an O-ring seal and a floating valve seat structure with pre-tension force, enabling bidirectional sealing at both the inlet and outlet of the flat gate valve. This design reduces the opening and closing torque to half of that of ordinary valves, ensuring easy operation.
» When fully open, the valve's channel is smooth, with minimal flow resistance, and no pressure loss. It can be cleaned by passing a rough ball through the pipeline.
» The valve uses a self-sealing packing structure that requires minimal adjustment. The opening and closing are lightweight, with reliable sealing performance. The packing box is equipped with an auxiliary sealing grease injection system to ensure zero leakage and reliable sealing performance, addressing the common leakage issue at the packing in typical valves.
» When closed, the flat gate valve automatically releases high pressure inside the chamber, ensuring safe operation.
