This ASTM A105N Gate Valve features a forged carbon steel body and is designed to meet API 602 standards. With a 1-inch (DN25) size and a pressure rating of Class 150 LB and PN20, it provides reliable performance in moderate-pressure applications. Forged Steel Gate Valves are designed and manufactured in strict compliance with international standards, including API 602, ASME B16.34, DIN 3202, or equivalent. These valves feature a compact yet robust design, making them ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature applications. The solid CoCr alloy wedge (optional) ensures low friction and an extended service life. Packing rings are pre-compressed to 4000 psi to provide a high-integrity seal. For welded bonnet valves, the bonnet is threaded in and torqued to a precise value, with the body-bonnet joint strength-welded, offering double protection against leakage (body, bonnet threads, and strength weld). The fully guided wedge minimizes wear on seating surfaces. Optional designs are available with double packing, leak-off connections, live-loading, and a packing blowout feature for easy removal of old packing.
